SnackTime partnered with Extraordinary Aliens, a creative studio led by founder-designers Yashas & Saloni Mitta, to launch their first wearable art collection titled “Stolen From Mexico”.
It centers migration, reclamation, and identity as creative fuel. SnackTime was brought in to help shape their founding narrative and create an experience that embodied the emotional, political, and sensual themes of the project.
Our Role: We advised the founders on how to tell the story of Stolen From Mexico, the brand’s inaugural collection and collaboration with Agnes Workshop. Through our Launch Campaign photoshoot, we sought to capture the freedom and restraint of the clothes, reflecting the political presence of the collection. For the event at Cromática in Mexico City, we created a multimedia brand debut that wove together fashion, food, memory, and origin through a Narrative Tapestry – a participatory storytelling installation with prompts inviting guests to explore themes of belonging, grief, reclamation, and personal myth and an Edible Installation – an abundant food altar made from local Mexican ingredients honoring communal nourishment
